Overview

Carlsbad Ranch Market is a grocery store chain that prides itself on a mix of fresh, local, natural, organic produce and groceries. I was brought on to update their branding and create their website.

Goals

Carlsbad Ranch Market was a growing company that was now offering franchise opportunities. They had reached the point where they not only wanted to have a modern, mobile friendly – online presence, but also wanted to offer online ordering for their deli. I built the website in WordPress and I custom built the ordering process in WooCommerce to allow build-your-own sandwiches, juices, and catering orders. I also connected the online ordering system to Google Cloud Print so that whenever an order was placed it automatically printed out in their deli. The store and online ordering did so well that Carlsbad Ranch Market just opened their second location, which also meant they out grew the ordering process I had created. They’ve now purchased an in-store POS system that covers both locations, but I’ll take this as a win.
